Our Redeemer is a place to learn about Jesus. If you are new to worshiping God or have never attended worship at Our Redeemer, we hope you find the information below helpful. Please feel free to contact Rev. Ron Rafferty if you have any additional questions before or after visiting Our Redeemer. On Sundays, we are available to answer any questions you may have. Everyone is welcome at Our Redeemer and we hope you will worship with us soon!
Who?
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, through the work of the Holy Spirit, empowers its people to be disciples of Jesus Christ, proclaim the gospel and witness Christ's love to all people.
What?
Our services follow the liturgy from the Lutheran Service Book and include traditional hymns and contemporary songs. What to wear? You may wear casual or dress clothes to Our Redeemer. You will be welcomed as you are.
When?
Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. (The adult Bible study class is on hold at this time.) Worship is at 10:45 a.m.
Where?
Our Redeemer is located at 730 E. Cherry Street in Cushing.
Why?
God loves us. We worship in thanks and praise for His many blessings. We believe in the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. How?
Our worship service is outlined in the weekly bulletin that is available as you enter the church from our ushers. Information not in the bulletin is primarily found in the Lutheran Service Book found in the racks on the back of the pew in front of where you are sitting.
